Cows | A Poem

Yesterday the cows in our 'back garden' were taken away. Now the field is empty. These cows became a welcome distraction to a lot of people in my wee village. They arrived right at the start of lockdown. They depart as the threat of an all new lockdown looms large.

I spent approximately 3 minutes penning this poetic masterpiece.

Cows

Moo moo moo
Boo hoo hoo
We’ll miss your moo moo mooing
And the sound of grass chew chew chewing
We’ll miss our long deep chats
And the fluttering eyelashes you bats
And one more sound I’ll miss
The whooshing jet stream of your p……
